Christchurch Envirohub is a charitable trust and the central hub for environmental, sustainability, and community organisations across greater Christchurch.
Since our establishment in 2018, we have worked to amplify the impact of the sector by connecting people, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for collaboration and collective action. We provide a range of digital and physical tools and services that support over 300 organisations to do their mahi more effectively, because when we strengthen the sector, the whole community benefits.
Our work spans a diverse range of programmes and initiatives, including Green Drinks — our monthly environmental networking event; Envirokids — a hands-on environmental education programme for tamariki and their whānau; and our Environmental Coworking Space — an affordable, flexible workspace for purpose-driven individuals and organisations.
Motivated by a commitment to widespread behaviour change and alignment with Te Tiriti, we believe that a sustainable Christchurch is built from the ground up — through connection, education, and community action.
