About

Why This Matters

Today children and young people face a lot of challenges, including: obesity, substance use, mental health and wellbeing, and bullying.

The decisions we make as young people can dramatically affect how we live our lives in the future – and this is why Life Education exists. Through education we help students learn knowledge and strategies to make positive choices for their health and wellbeing, both now and in the future.

How We Create Change

Our registered teachers visit schools in mobile classrooms with our mascot Harold the giraffe. Mobile classrooms are packed with technology and interactive resources which bring our lessons to life making them memorable and engaging.

Our Story

Life Education is a charity and have been supporting children and young people throughout New Zealand for over 30 years.

It's thanks to donations, grants and sponsorship we are able to do our important work with over 250,000 kiwi kids each year.

The health and safety of our children and beneficiaries is always our priority; accordingly our in country managers are applying the critical incident management plan we have developed that covers hygiene as well as isolation in some cases....
