Established in 1999, the Middlemore Foundation partners with communities to raise funds to initiate and support key projects in health, homes and education within Counties Manukau. We are a registered charity funding important and life-changing initiatives to help those in need in the South Auckland community and throughout Aotearoa.
Our main campaign at the moment is Masks for the Community which provides vulnerable families that can not afford to purchases masks or the material to create their own with an extra layer of protection.
We also offer a variety of campaigns to benefit the community such as the Wool Programme, Jammies in June, Mana-Ā-Riki, Te Maara Kai O Wirihana, Books for Kidz and the Eyeglasses Programme.
In addition to supporting the South Auckland community, we also fundraise for equipment to support departments within Counties Manukau Health, including: National Burns Centre, Spinal Unit and Kidz First Children's Hospital.
