The House of Gabriel Wahi o Te Haumaru (House of Gabriel) offers wrap-around social and navigation services to whanau experiencing family violence. We offer support services to victims, those who use violence, and most importantly, children and young persons impacted by family violence.
We believe in family-centered, strength-based, and solutions focussed approaches that seek to separate the person from the problem. Adopting this approach, we believe that it opens doors to addressing the root causes of the problems. By offering support to both those who are victims of family violence and those who use family violence, we believe that we are better positioned to be more effective in our organisation's mission to contribute to a safer Aotearoa for all.
